Able to cover 60 kms a day the easily detached battery can be charged overnight in your bedroom. The charger is transferred to each hotel with your baggage. E-bike hire is £124. Cycle along quiet country lanes linking honey coloured villages, through vineyards and walnut groves, bastides and bustling medieval market towns. We supply detailed route notes showing many points of interest and pre-history sites to visit throughout your journey.

Cycling in the Dordogne

The Dordogne region is renowned for the beauty of its rural landscapes and the richness of its cuisine. Often known as the world’s prehistoric capital, this area of France is full of the memories of Cro-Magnon man in its limestone caves and art.

The route involves distances of up to 30 miles a day and has occasional steep climbs.

Dordogne River Valley Cycling holiday

Cycling through the départements of Corrèze (in the region of Limousin) and Lot (in the region of Midi-Pyrénées), your tour will take you around the valley of the Upper Dordogne river. You will cycle through verdant rolling countryside passing many ancient and unchanged towns and villages.

The route involves distances of up to 32 miles a day and has occasional steep climbs.
