Cassie plans and looks after every holiday herself, from your first email to the day you head home. When you book with us, you deal with her directly.
For many years, Cassie’s parents, Keith and Val, were at the heart of Dordogne Experience. They created the routes our guests still love, found the hotels and built real friendships with the families who run them. They’re now enjoying a well-earned retirement, but they’re never far away and still on hand with advice.
In 2025 Cassie took over. She kept the routes, the trusted hotels and the same care, and added a route of her own, Premium Périgord, with shorter walks, lovely hotels and the very best of the region’s food. Her husband, Kev, helps behind the scenes.

Hello, I’m Cassie
In 2025 I took over from my parents, and the Dordogne has completely captivated me.
Putting these holidays together, and helping to create a little bit of magic for the people who take them, is a real pleasure.
I’m not doing it alone: Keith and Val, who ran Dordogne Experience before me, are always on hand with advice. Every route has been walked or cycled by our family, every hotel is chosen personally, and I’m on hand throughout your trip if you need me.

Castles & Caves of the Dordogne
Exploring the boutique shops in Domme, and kayaking along the ancient Dordogne route.Domme is on the longer versions of the holiday; kayaking isn’t part of it, but you could go on a free afternoon.

Château de Castelnau on the Loubressac circular walk, and admiring the fairytale village of Beaulieu from the opposite side of the river.
