Market days in the Dordogne on our routes
On our routes, Sarlat has its markets on Wednesday and Saturday, Domme on Thursday, Montignac on Wednesday and Saturday mornings, Les Eyzies on Monday mornings, Souillac on Friday, St Céré on Saturday and Sunday mornings, Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne on Wednesday, Carennac on Sunday and Lamastre on Tuesday, with summer evening markets in several towns. A village market is one of the pleasures of a walking or cycling holiday here: pick up a picnic, taste the local cheese and walnuts, and see the town at its busiest.
